We went to Wales. Part 1. The door.

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Wales. We stayed in a very nice cottage that had a stable door.

The first morning I woke up early and thought I would have a peek outside to see what the weather was like.

It was sunny..........looking good.

Then Taffy came up and kept asking questions.

What's it like out there?

Are there any more dogs?

Is it sunny?

What can you see?

He wouldn't stop asking questions so in the end I said to him.

Have a look for yourself.


Molly................... I can't see.
I am standing on tippy toes and I can't see a thing.


Oh the joys of having a little brother.

So I pointed out that you don't necessarily have to see what is going on.
Just sit and listen. I even demonstrated how to do this but he wasn't interested.


So I walked away from the door, anything to get a bit of peace and quiet.

I sat very quietly and then Taffy said

"Molly are you OK?"


"I am fine" I replied.


"Never felt better actually; my ears are feeling delicate after all your questions but otherwise I am just fine!"
Well I was, till Taffy told me to look at my rear end.


"Ha, that is funny. Did I just lay a tennis ball?"

I became very worried.
I couldn't possibly have layed a tennis ball could I?


"Taffy are you playing tricks on me?"


Then Taffy had the audacity to laugh at me.

That's it, I have had enough I am going back to the door.
