We went to Wales. Part 2 Water

My greatest passion in life is my tennis ball, closely followed by water.

In Wales there is an abundance of the wet stuff and we made sure the hoomans took us to some each day.

Imagine our delight when we stopped here and were told we could spend the morning splashing and swimming.

Molly this is a very big lake. What shall we do first?

Come on, don't dilly dally, let's have a swim.

Oh my gosh, Molly I think I have found something here.

This is an excellent find.

What do you think of this?

It's a bit heavy

I just need to get it balanced

You going to come and help?

Don't rush!

Now I have brought it all the way out don't think you are going to get your paws on it.

You didn't exactly hurry to help did you?

I am going to ask the hoomans to throw it so I can retrieve it again.

Molly can you see it?

When I asked them to throw it I didn't mean to the other side of the lake!
Oh blast. It has gone. After all my hard work.

It's very deep, my stick must have sunk.

Made it back safely to dry land.
The soggy look isn't very fetching is it?

Molly you won't find the stick, there is no point looking.
Let's get the hoomans to throw my ball.
Hope they haven't thrown it too far.
There you go, I've got it.

It's my ball so you can watch me.

Taffy.

Talk about hog this post with his swimming and fetching skills.
I am going to tell you about something I enjoyed on our holiday.
Be back tomorrow.

Molly

What a beautiful lake and what fun you look like you're having Taffy! Molly wasn't much help with the stick or the ball was she. I wonder what she was up to while you were splashing about...?

cheers,
Ruby

Wow! I knew Wales must be an incredible place--it is our homeland, after all--but lakes AND balls--wow!

Taffy, that was a huge find! I cannot believe the humans tossed it so it would disappear after all your hard work.....
I can't wait to hear about molly's adventures tomorrow. I wish I could swim like you guys. I don't like to get dirty or wet.

Are you brave enough to swim when you can't touch the bottom? I'm very impressed. I never do that!
Cheers, H.

Looks like great fun! I have never plunged into "the wet stuff," but you made it seem easy! Maybe you can teach me to swim, and I can teach you about li-berries. ;P

Taffy,
You could have sprained your face carrying that big stick. That is a Mango sized stick. What is up with everybody wanting to be wet all the time?

Slobbers,
Mango

Dear Molly,
Please, please don't ever tell Miro how to open a door or gate. I live in dread of the day he'll figure out how to open the kitchen cupboards.
Your friend,
Sherry (human)
