Valentine's Day arrived at long last. Taffy and I had been looking forward to it so much.
First thing yesterday morning my
Alf came and collected
Stella, Taffy and myself from my house in his snazzy car.
(Stella had flown over yesterday, accompanied by
Asta, to be with Taffy)

He really is a cool dude my Alf.

We went cruising for a while, Alf said he wanted to show Stella the sights of South East England and then we were going on to a posh restaurant for a slap up meal.
He had even made a table reservation for us. What a gentleman.
We drove for about an hour before we reached the restaurant. By which time all our tummies were rumbling and Stella said she was so hungry she could eat a horse! Fortunately there weren't any on the menu!
She decided she would like to share a large plate of spaghetti with Taffy. Judging by the loud slurping noises I think she really enjoyed the food.
Fortunately she remembered to put her paw over her mouth when she had the burps otherwise I think Taffy would have slithered under the table and disappeared with embarrassment.
Alf and I opted for the ham shank. It was a decent sized portion and I was ever so pleased it came with carrots and yummy mashed potato. I let Alf have the peas!
After we had finished our meal Alf suggested we had a short stroll before returning home for the evening.

Taffy made sure Stella was wrapped up nice and warm before we left the restaurant.
She wasn't too keen on wearing her woolly hat but as it was her Taffy telling her to keep snug and warm she was a good girl and put it on!
Sadly when it started to get dark we had to make our way back to the car.
When we arrived home we switched on the computer and found we had received some lovely Valentine's wishes.

Gaucho and Verdi
Butchy, Snickers, Ruby, Scuby and Sylvester.
We certainly had a fabulous Valentine's Day.
