Hello everyone, I am still here.

It's been a long week....

Spent a lot of time sleeping in my posh gear.

Or looking at my rather nice calendar.

All that seems to be written on it is

At least I had some good pals to look at above my appointments.

My view of the garden for the past week, oh how I wish I could be out there.

Something did cheer me up the other morning.

I had a card from Doctor Duffy.

She is a serious character, stands no nonsense but I really did appreciate that she spent time in her very busy schedule to send me a pawsonalised repeat prescription.

The first part I can follow quite easily the second part is proving to be quite a challenge.

On Monday I went for my post op check up.

Taffy stayed home and apparently was a nervous wreck wondering how I was getting on.

He stayed by the fence till I came home.

My vet was very pleased with me.

My wounds are healing very well and I have been a very good girl following all his instructions to a "T"

My lab results were back..

Good news.

The tumour has been completely removed and a big enough margin to ensure that nothing could spread. The extra good news is that my lymph glands were all clear.

The area taken was about the circumference of a tennis ball and apparently it proved a challenge for my vet to sew me back up again because of the position it was in. Consequently it is taking a little longer to heal.

I received a BIG thumbs up.

What a relief. 

So now I just have to rest up a few more days and hopefully by the weekend I will be able to join my brothers and sister and have a decent walk.

Finally I have to thank all the staff who have cared for me during the past 10 days.

Such a supportive team and so very kind.
