Well our weekend did not turn out as we wanted it to.
We had time planned for walkies and playing in our garden.
Thursday night we watched a big monster munching his way through the fields by our house.
He was a very neat and tidy monster and chomped in fairly straight lines.
His teeth were very long and sharp.
Even longer than ours!!!
After a few hours of trundling up and down he settled down for the night in readiness for more work the following day.
Friday it all went pear shaped.
It rained
Well actually it poured.
The rain quite literally fell out of the sky.
We almost felt sorry for the monster being battered by the rain.
Saturday morning we went to see if it was OK.
It looked as though it had done a massive piddle!
Then we noticed that all it's food was soggy too.
The wheat was standing in a lot of water.
No more munching for you Mr Monster.
Sunday it rained again as Big Bertha arrived.
The winds were awful and all our trees looked right in unison.
Guess what we did all weekend????
