Yesterday afternoon one of our little chinchillas went up to Chinchilla heaven and has left his brother of 14 years here feeling lonely. So we now we have the responsibility of going up to him and giving him little nose pokes to keep him company and tell him he is not alone.
We have to be very calm and well behaved when we visit so as not to frighten him. The little fellow seems to be OK at the moment so we must keep up our responsibilities of chinchilla care for our hooman.
Then this morning our mate Robbie went home. His hoomans had returned home from their holidays. We had a last play with him and then he was gone.
Apparently he will be coming to stay next year, so until then our little matie!
