Fed up with the rain.

This is becoming boring.
Nearly every day it rains.
When it finally stops for a few hours this is what we can see.
I am NOT going out in that!
We did have a little excitement to break up the boredom.
A huge parcel arrived.

It didn't smell that interesting, no nice dog treats or toys inside.

Just this.......
Ummm, shouldn't this be used in the garden?

Mind you it's too wet to go out there, perhaps we could have stripes in the carpet instead?

No?

OK then, perhaps you could programme it to throw balls to me?
I'll pop the ball in the top.
Perhaps you could arrange for them to fly out here.
Hmm, nothing is happening.
I'm waiting............
Suppose I had better read the instructions.
Sitting here reading the instructions upside down it would appear you have to plug it in first!
You just can't get the staff!

Where's Molly?

Molly, where are you?
Oh there you are.
Why are you in the tub?
I'm squashing the weeds Taffy, why else would I be in the tub?

Silly question receives a silly answer.
Oh good grief, here comes Monty.
Molly, why are you in the tub?
I am hiding.  Trying to enjoy a bit of peace and quiet!
OK everyone. You go and hide now. I won't look where you are going.
While they are hiding and wondering when I am going to look for them I can enjoy some quiet time.

Perhaps a nice snooze for an hour or two......................

Wish this fern would budge over a bit.

Molly.

Tug of war

Molly and I like to play tug.

Taffy:  I always win.

Molly: I let him win. Of course you do Taffy. You are so good.

Molly: It gets a bit nasty if he doesn't.   The best man always wins!

Bad hare day.

So there I was sitting sunning myself while the sun actually made a brief appearance in our garden
When I became aware of something the other side of our back hedge.
My nose picked up a smell I had never come across before.
It certainly wasn't the silly old Wood Pigeon in our trees.
So I decided to peek over our garden hedge.

Ah ha! I have never seen one of them before.
He was so busy sorting out his furs he didn't notice me.
Occasionally he would stop and look into the distance
Then back to grooming himself and rolling in the dirt.
Obviously having a bad hare hair day.
Hope he didn't have fleas, I don't want them jumping over my hedge.  Eeuuuw.
Then he spotted me and hopped off
towards the wheat field.
Well that was my excitement over for the day.

When I told Molly, Monty and Taffy I had seen the hare they didn't believe me.
Rotten lot.
