Silent Sunday

Two boys sleeping.  Shhhhh.

A surprise.

We had the most wonderful surprise on Valentine's Day.

A parcel arrived. 

It was addressed to all of us but there was a heart around my name. 

Inside were the most yummy looking biscuits.

A huge one wrapped in foil just for me.

Smaller biscuits for Taffy and Winnie and big ones for Molly and Me.

They smelt so delicious, we were drooling all over the floor.

They tasted so good.

Taffy had his in his bed.

I just couldn't wait to go to my bed and ate them on the rug.

Mum didn't manage to take photos of Molly and Winnie. 

They were piggies and ate them so quickly they were gone before she could blink.

Wordless Wednesday with Molly

I've had a bad week.

I was alright at the beginning of the week and then I had a bit of a fight with the tables and chairs in the kitchen.

I am not blaming him but Taffy crept up behind me with his snake, Hissing Sid, and made me jump out of my skin.

I got up so quickly that the chair nearest to me fell over and it sort of started a domino effect.

All the other chairs came at me and I ended up in a heap and in a right old state.

I did panic a bit and in my rush to escape chairs coming at me right left and centre I must have twisted my neck.

So now I am on anti inflammatory tablets for 10 days.

My nice vet said it looks as though I have trapped a nerve somewhere in my neck and I must take it very steady for a bit.  I keep wobbling over when I turn left. Mum says I look as though I have been drinking!

The only upside to this is that I have a regular supply of cheese coming my way. Lovely soft creamy cheese is wrapped around my HUGE tablets.

Wordless Wednesday with Monty.

My 5th birthday

On the 26th January I had my 5th birthday.

I really wasn't sure what to do to celebrate it.

After a while I decided to do a spot of bird watching.

From inside the house, of course.

You would have had to been mad to sit outside in these conditions.

I spotted some Fieldfare.

They were busy pecking the berries off the trees.

Can you see the bird on the right has a berry in his beak?

After a good munch they all flew down and sat on the snow.  How funny!

I love watching the Tits hang upside down.

They are amazing acrobats.

The Chaffinch wait patiently on the ground for tasty morsels to drop.

For my birthday I asked for a new tag. 

You may have noticed I wasn't wearing one in the photo at the top. 

I lost it somewhere and so I had asked for a new one.

I didn't need any new toys as I had loads for Christmas and I do love to have new blingee stuff on my collar.
