We have just returned home from an absolutely great weekend in Derbyshire. The highlight of the weekend has just got to be Saturday.
We went to Sherwood Forest.
We were told we were going to have a big big walk and meet a new Dale friend called Finni. We love meeting new Dales.
We arrived in the forest parked the car and immediately saw an Airedale, but it wasn't our soon to be new friend Finni, it was in fact another Airedale called Bingo. We said hello ......
Then Finni came along and more introductions were made.
The hoomans put on their walking boots, we had our extender leads put on and off we trotted. We had not gone very far when we met another Airedale, called Poppy, who was out walking her hooman in the forest.
She wanted to play with me.

After a good play time and the hoomans having a good natter we put our best paws forward and set off into the forest.
We found a lovely pond to paddle in.

We managed to get our leads in a bit of a tangle.
We did quite a good job of mixing ourselves up!
When we arrived back at the car park we could not believe we had been walking for 2 hours. Robbie's little legs were were very tired and he was glad to sit down.
Before we all said goodbye we had a group photo taken.
We have been told we will meet up with Finni again one day, yippeee, we cannot wait.
