Power of the Paw needed

Hello, it's me Winnie

I have a favour to ask.

My new friend Gracie, a gorgeous WFT is very ill.

She was meant to celebrate her 3rd birthday at home yesterday but sadly has been here at the  RVC  for the past week.

She has Polyradiculoneuritis. 

This photo was taken only a matter of weeks ago when she joined us on a Welsh Terrier Walk.

She had a cuddle with my Daddy

 and thoroughly enjoyed walking with Welshies

 Gracie doesn't have a blog but she is on Facebook with  her Dad.

Please could you put your paws together and pray that she recovers very soon.

She is absolutely gorgeous and a very special girl

Wordless Wednesday with Monty

A package from across the pond.

Great excitement at our house this morning when a package arrived.

It had come all the way across the pond.

It was from Mitch and Molly

We were the lucky winners of their door hanger give-away.

As I am the biggest I said I would open it.

Oh this is so pretty.

A card too from Mitch and Molly

They said they were very happy we had won the door hanger.

We have hung it on the kitchen door.

It looks absolutely perfect.

In the meantime we appear to have a hedgehog problem...

Time to sort this lot out I think.

It's my birthday today.

Hello friends, it's me Monty

Today I am  6 years old.

This morning a huge package was delivered

We took it into the garden and unwrapped it

Oh wow.

A lovely new pool

Molly asked Taffy to organise filling it up

While she sunbathed

Taffy gave instructions to our staff and then went to sleep

As soon as it was full I carried out a full inspection

Can we have some toys in the pool said Molly

What a good idea.

The water was nice to drink

It doesn't matter if I drink lots does it?

You will fill it up again?

Molly  tried to take the egg out of our new pool

She wasn't successful

Oh Molly you are silly.

You have to get into the pool. Not stand and tickle the water.

Taffy and I put some more toys in and the girls gave up

Taffy said he was having a really good time

He asked if we could play our first game.

Bone dipping

Excuse me Molly. You have your own bowl

Do I have to drink the water first?

No Monty.

You are meant to grab the bones as quickly as possible

First one to finish is the winner

Well nobody explained the rules properly.

I haven't played this game before

You youngsters are so slow.

Come on Winnie we are waiting for you to finish

Next game.

Find the treats.

Monty there are treats hidden everywhere.

You have to find them.

This is a bit crafty.

Hiding them under our bowls

Just push the bowl says Taffy

It is easy to find them

Oh I have the hang of this game

Found another one Taffy

Molly: I prefer to flip the bowl over

You carry on Molly. I have found a treat just waiting for me to wrap my jaws around it

 Molly, I think this one was meant for you

It is quite high up

I am a determined girl

Taffy then decided to entertain us with his party trick

Better dry off as the birthday tea will be served shortly

Taffy: Oh these cheese paws are divine

Chicken or beef flavoured gravy to go on our dinner.

All made especially for dogs.
