We had a bit of a surprise a few weekends ago.
Actually it was a huge shock
We had been told we were going to have a house guest for a few weeks
Nobody mentioned it was a puppy!!
A 21 week old Airedale puppy with hundreds of puppy teeth!
He was really cute
Monty had a chat with him.
Telling him the rules of the house
Went down well...
He was so good at looking innocent after being naughty
He had that down to a T
T for TROUBLE
He loved cardboard boxes
So Molly came up with the brilliant idea of putting some of his kibble in a box.
It worked a treat!
It meant we could, temporarily, exit the building without sharp teeth hanging onto our back legs.
Then he kept busy outside by dead heading Mum's Fuchsias.
He loved to say hello to Winnie
Then chase her around the garden.
After he tired of that game he would sit in the middle of the lawn and look innocent
We gave him ice cold t towels to chew on.
They worked really well and soothed his gums
Then he would sit and look at us
We just knew he was wondering what he could do next to keep us on our toes.
These were good times.
When he slept so could we, knowing we were not going to wake up with millions of teeth clamped around our ears and tails.
Mum took him to the fur dressers so he could have a nice bath and brush
Apparently he was a very good boy.
He shared his first experience at the fur dressers with a teddy bear.
The day arrived when he had to go home
We will miss the little monster fellow
He was fun.
