Wordless Wednesday. Is this allowed?

The Old Year goes out with a bang!

Well I have to say my sister excelled herself this evening!!

There we were enjoying a nice nap before welcoming in the New Year when all of a sudden huge noisy fireworks went off near to our house. Molly raced into the lounge and picked up the first thing she could find and gave it a good shake. (She shakes things when she hears fireworks)!

There was a very loud whooshing noise, just like the Christmas tree falling down, we thought she had attacked it, but no, when we looked it was still standing!

This is what she shook.... In its previous life before it was decapitated it was a fully functional door stop!.

What our hoomans had not realised was that it was stuffed full of small pieces of rubble and you can guess the rest!!!!

The whole of the lounge was covered in pieces of grit. The sofas, tables, absolutely everything. It took the hoomans over an hour to clear all the mess.
So this little fellow is now sleeping peacefully in the dustbin.

Molly Rubble is keeping a low profile in a corner trying not to look too guilty! Sisters!!!!!!!!!!!

Molly contemplating.

Well today the hoomans decided it was time for a major overhaul of our beds. We were turfed out of our nice warm beds, toys were washed and returned to the toy box and all bedding was taken to be washed and beds were cleaned and hoovered and then hung out to air in the sun. WHY?

We had them just as we wanted them! So I am sitting here contemplating why our beds had to be disturbed.

My ruffled up blanket all squashed up to one side and with my doggy aroma was just how I liked it, with my Heffalump sprawled on the blankets.

This is how a bed should be!!!!




I like to rest my head on Heffalump's body and squash him.



Now the bed is all flat and neat and smells of the horrid washing stuff they use. Heffalump is sitting neatly to attention and no other soft toys are there to make it cosy. The cushion is all straight and the blanket neatly folded.

Taffy's bed is the same all neatly folded and no toys.

Will we be able to sleep tonight??
