Christmas morning I opened my presents

Santa brought a new blanket in pretty pinks and purple colours and a new Teddybear for me to chew cuddle.

Opening presents is very thirsty work!

Time for drinkies.

Monty's day at the vet.

Today I spent the whole day at the vets!

I had a little lump on my top gum and it was removed.

Nothing nasty, but removed just in case.

My hips had become a little creaky recently so a check up and an X-ray was  arranged at the same time.

Unfortunately I became rather cold under anaesthetic, my body temperature dropped 3 degrees and I had to be warmed up.

Here I am in my private room receiving one to one care from my lovely nurse.

I was under loads of blankets and she used a hairdryer to put lots of warm air around me.

I felt very cosy

Can you see the snazzy socks they put on my paws to keep them warm?

Eventually I warmed up,  had a drink of fresh water and then went home.

That was a very long day.

Halloween

Last year I was dressed up for Halloween.

Not this year.

I put my paw down!

Don't mind wearing my Halloween bandana but those red horns I had to wear last year really were the limit!

Treasure Hunt

I have just spent the past week hunting for Treasure.

I had loads of items to find and I still need to find more.

Finding a green motorbike was very difficult.

I am glad my secretary posted the nice photo of me.

Apparently me showing lots of teeth at the poor chap who owned the bike wasn't very flattering.....

I thought I was very clever with X marks the spot.

Think I am about halfway through my list now.

I am doing this Treasure Hunt to raise funds for Terrier SOS.

They have lots of Terriers who have had a dreadful life and are now looking for their new forever sofas  homes.

I am 10 today

Today I am feeling very proud. 

I have reached double figures!

I am 10

I sat for my official birthday pawtrait last week.

Just as well really as it is tipping it down with rain today and the wind is making the rain go sideways.

Molly and I had a good game of bitey face after breakfast.

We had to stop after a while as the coffee table started to wobble a bit and the staff had to pin it to the floor while we chased around it.

At least we are receiving treats on a regular basis to compensate for not being able to go outside.

My best pal Bo was here when I had my official birthday photo session.

We posed together

I think we looked very smart indeed.

Bo is such a good friend.

He said how smart I looked and wished me a 

Very Happy Birthday.

Homeowner

I have become a homeowner

I have a small detached cosy residence in the countryside.

After months of negotiations and paperwork I finally took possession.

It even has a chimney!

I moved in last week

The removal company were OK but they dumped all my toys by the front door!

I thought it was a very poor service so did not treat them to a nice bowl of fresh water!

Well you have to do a good job to be rewarded!

Why someone had to take a photo of my bottom while I was busy sorting out my house I really don't know! 

But you can see I did have quite a lot of sorting to do.

After flinging  carefully sorting everything I was pleased with the end result.

I had a snooze to gather my strength

It's my birthday.

I am 9 years old.

We cheated a bit with the official birthday portrait this year.

Apparently I am too woolly to have a decent photo taken.

So I went through my photo albums and found one from last Autumn for your enjoyment.

Loads of treats arrived yesterday

Think we will be having a party later.

Sardines with our dinner tonight.

Life could not be any better.
