Our 500th post

We cannot believe we have reached No 500!

I know I haven't been part of the team for that long but Molly, Monty and Taffy very kindly said I could post about something very exciting we want to do.

To celebrate reaching our 500th post we would like to host a little competition for our dog blogging pals.

There will be prizes for the winner!

I am going to list 25 questions. All you need to do is answer as many as you can and peemail us your answers to:

mollyandtaffyterriers@yahoo.com.

The closing date for entries is Sunday 7th October, 9pm BST.

Should there be a tie for first place we will place the names in a hat and pick out a winner.

Each question relates to a breed of dog.

For example:

Cruella Deville  kidnapped this breed of puppies.

Norwood's Dog Days of Summer

Day 15. Agility

These strange items appeared in OUR garden earlier this summer.

Monty:  Not too sure about these Molly.

Hmm, neither am I Monty

You going to jump through the hoop Monty?

I'll watch

Will you two stop pushing me. I am not going to jump.

How about we pose and look gorgeous instead?

Come on Taffy, give it a go.

Why do you keep trying to push me?

Look only my head fits.
This is for you Welshies. Not Airedales.

You really, really want me to jump?

You sure?

Oh OK then.

You ready?

Here I go...

You blinked and missed it didn't you?

Time for liquid refreshment.

This agility lark is thirsty work.

Yorkshire holiday Part 3. By Molly.

Finally I can tell you about the last part of our holiday.

It's been tough work sifting through a thousand photos.

This was our view each morning as we drove through the Airedale Valley on our way to visit another exciting place.

We saw lots of interesting signs.

This one confused Monty a little.
I had to explain it was an eating establishment for humans and not somewhere where they have hair extensions!

Once we had passed all the busy roads we came to lots of narrow country lanes where there were traffic jams.

Think that family should have kept inside the yellow line!

Sheep looking for a parking space in a village!

A young lady oblivious to the traffic.

Another traffic jam.

This young lady gave us the evil eye when we woofed at her.

We thought she was going to climb in the car.
Mum was practically sitting on Dad's lap at one point.

After a gentle stroll they finally went off road.
Wonder if they did zoomies when they were in their field?

We reached a small archway. Height is OK, not sure about the width...

Breathe in everyone.

Phew, made it.

Towards the end of the week we visited Aysgarth Falls in Wensleydale.

It was very noisy.
We were told to stand well back as the river was running very quickly.

So what does Monty do?

Goes and plods straight in.
I think he was on a mission to drink Yorkshire dry!

Taffy remembered visiting here before
and insisted on posing for loads of photos.

Be careful there Winnie. You are close to the edge.

It's all right Molly, I have no intention of going any further.

Taffy........again.

Come on Monty I think it is time for lunch, then we have to  head back and pack our bags as we have to go home tomorrow.

Last one back buys lunch!

Now there's a surprise.
Taffy is back first.

Well Monty, what did you think of your first holiday in Yorkshire?
I loved it Molly.

Can we come back again soon?

Molly
