Hmmm it may have gone out for a while.

It went this way I know.

I need to check out if it has set up home.

Wordless Wednesday with Winnie

Well done Taffy.

There have been celebrations in our house for the past 24 hours.

Our little brother did rather well in Mango Minster 2012.

Mango Minster is THE dog show of the year with exciting categories and loads of fun.

I entered the Working Stiffs category and although I was unplaced I had the bestest time at the pre-show adventure.

I had the opportunity to fly with Air Dennis and when it ran into mechanical difficulties I helped repair the plane.

I am not really a girly girl and prefer an adventurous, paws on, life.

The best bit of the adventure just had to be the boat ride. Mango was absolutely amazing!

To qualify for Best in Show Taffy had to win his group, Cracker Critters.

Judge Loki was the judge in this category. I certainly didn't envy the task he had. Living with a Cracker dog is bad enough but having to judge 12 of them must surely lead to a nervous breakdown.

After much consideration Loki awarded first place to Taffy and Corbin, another extremely cracker dog.

So then it was on to B.I.S.

Judge Bert, who I have to say looked extremely dapper in his black hat and matching bow tie, announced the winners in reverse order.
It was a tense moment as we all sat on the edges of our beds in anticipation.

We were absolutely delighted Taffy was placed as 1st Runner Up by Judge Bert.

Well to be honest those gnashers of Taffy's could have scared off the bravest of dogs but Bert was not deterred and apparently stayed up all night reading past posts about Taffy.

Thank you Judge Bert for placing "JAWS" as 1st Runner Up.

We would like to offer our congratulations to sweet Mollie Jo who won Best in Show.

Mollie Jo won the Too Darn Cute Category.

Such a pretty girl and a worthy winner of Mango Minster 2012.

Just when we thought all the excitement had ended we realised Taffy had won Reader's Choice as well!

So thank you to everyone who voted for my little brother with the biggest, gleamiest toofies. All those hours in front of the mirror with his toothbrush were not in vain.

Our biggest thanks have to go to Mango and his hard working Momma who hosted another great show. Thank you for organising this mammoth event.

Right I am off to find my tool kit. There are some door frames that need widening, Taffy's head seems to have got bigger after all his wins!

Busy weekend for us Welshies.

Hello, Winnie here

Taffy and I are very busy this weekend.

I am celebrating my first Gotcha Day with my family.

I had an extra large Dentastix this morning to celebrate my special day.

Followed by a nice long play session with my favourite toy.
I can't believe I have been here a year already, time has gone past so quickly.

It has been such a great year for me.

As you may know Taffy has qualified for Best in Show in Mango Minster 2012.

He excelled in the Cracker Critter category.

I do hope to attain his level of crackerness one day.

At the moment he is resting while he waits for the voting to finish.

Even when he is asleep he still manages to have his mouth wide open.
I really don't know how he manages it!

You could have told me it was slippery before I hit my chin!

Two seconds later I was on the floor, in a heap!

I was absolutely fine as I slid off very gracefully.
